Lesser Known Comics is an underground, creator-led comic book publisher built for the misfits, weirdos, and indie diehards.
Founded by Mark Bernal in 2020, LKC started as one person’s indie comic project and exploded into a worldwide collective of artists and storytellers.
No corporate suits. No gatekeeping. Just raw stories, full creator ownership, and a deep love for the craft.

Lesser Known Comics operates as an indie comic book collective that helps creators of all kinds make their projects a success.
We help get new creators plugged into a supportive community, we host “creator huddles” to exchange best-practices, and we act as a megaphone for projects that deserve a boost.
